Unit3 Teaching Strategies and Theories 2에 이은 티칭 전략과 이론! 교사에게 전략은 수업의 목적과 방향을 정하는데 매우 중요한 부분이죠!  Inductive VS Deductive approaches. (귀납적, 연역적) Key concepts Show, don't tell/ Students talk!/ Three times, Three ways/ Use your resources: even you! Be energetic/ Use relevant context/ Check for understanding frequently. Context Authntic vs. Created. interesting? useful? Emotional- Dramatic(학생들로 하여금 더 기억을 하게 만든다.)/ Understandable. Checking for understanding Emphasize important words. broke your arm - go to the doctor./ sneezed - go to the doctor. Grammar/ Don't use the grammar in your question. Inductive Vs. Deductive teaching inductive- students have to figure it out. deductive- they should be able to create language using the rules. ( 과거의 전통적인 티칭 방법이다.  Theacher or learner? T: TTT (선생님이 말하고 결정하고 선생님의 목표를 따르는 공부법) L: organic view of SLA. - good teaching. Inductive teaching/ 학생의 필요, 관심, 목적을 따라야 하는 티칭 Teacher role: Guide, Test and check, Feedback. Teacher needs to be Organized. Provide resources, let students analyze them. The Learner - centered classroom highly active/ help make decisions/ develop learning skills& strategies set their own learning goals/ view teacher as resource. Total Physical response (TPR) 우뇌: 동기부여/ 좌뇌: 학습 Reflects first language azquisiton. Learnign as we move!! - 몸으로 학습하는 티칭법인데 엄청 흥미로움 ㅎㅎ 학생들이 엄청 빠르게 동작을 통해 영어를 흡수한다. Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) Practical - basic communicative functions. correct language use for social situations "information gap" - give each other real - world goal, context. (너무 많은 authentic은 힘들게 할 수 있음) learner is actively involved. more about fluency, less about accuracy. Task Based Learning (TBL) CLT + learner - centered focus on meaning than on form Motivates students./ reaching a goal Pre- task/ Task(Projects)/ Report/ Language focus. CLL (Computer assisted alnguage learning) 초보학습자에게 매우 유용 Flow Theory 몰입 이론 is a state of heightened focus and immersion in activities. - Clear goals 2. Attainable goals with high challenge and skill leve 3. Clear and quick feedback. - 게임할 때 시간이 훅 갔을 때 느끼는 몰입감. Key point : How to introduce Yourself in English, This secret will improve your ability to speak. unit4: The English Language - A brief history and an even briefer overview unit4 공부후기 4단원은 영어의 역사 언어에 대한 히스토리가 담겨 있어서 흥미로운 주제였다. A Brief History 영어의 역사- 유튜브 영상   전세계에 널리 퍼진 언어들 - A world of languages 7,102 known languages 23- Native tongue for 4.1 billion Numbers- native speakers Color – movement of languages (summarized from infographic) 영어에도 지역마다 다양한 악센트가 있다. (지역별로 다양한 사투리를 구사하는 것과 유사) Accents of English - The King’s English - Southern English - Australian English - Canadian English - South African English - Indian English - Bostonian English - Texan English - Chicago English - Great Lakes- Canada - Native American English - East Coast English - West Coast English - Virginian English - New Zealander English 정말 다양한 악센트의 영어가 존재하고 있죠.  한 예를 들어 보면 인도네시아에서 포럼이 열려 인도 대표가 연설을 하는데 참가한 50개국 중 연설을 못 알아들은 한명의 대표가 있었는데 미국의 대표였다는 이야기를 국제 기사에 읽은적이 있었네요. 소셜미디어에서는 영어의 단어가 다양하게 사용되고 있다. 어떻게 사용되고 있는지를 알아야 한다. 불규칙적인 동사를 담고 있는 시 “ The chaos" Key poing: Showing the examples of poem that consis of 800 irregularties. ★ 스몰 그룹 - 개인 그룹이 함께 하는 카오스 수업을 적용할 수 있다는 것이 매우 흥미로웠어요! Prescriptive teaching vs Descriptive teaching. where are my keys? 올바른 문법이지만 where's my keys? - 실생활에서 말할 때는 이렇게 사용함. ★ 문법을 엄청 따지기 보다 실생활에서 많이 사용하는 것이 중요해고, 수업 시간에 문법으로 학생들에게 스트레스를 주지 말것을 당부하고 있네요. Those final prepositions - where did you come from? - what store are you going to? - Can you tell me where the Library's at? - What are you waiting for? 예전에 오래된 영어 규칙에는 영어 문장 끝에 preposition 붙이지 말기. 'i' before 'e' except after 'c' Don't split infinitives가 있었지만 영어도 한국어처럼 세대에 따라 바뀌는 듯하다. SNS와 온라인 상에서 영어에 대한 규칙과 문법도 많이 변한 상태. 영어 문법에 대한 부담감을 내려놓고 말하는 것을 즐기게 하는 것!
