In the future, I want to be a teacher who helps many people through this certificate program. I am ready for learning and I am looking forward to it. * Careers and majors: I studied classical piano from the university, I've been working as a Jazz pianist at Hotels, Clubs, and concert hall as well. and I am going to church as a professional pianist.  * Purpose of acquisition : Immigration to live in Israel and European countries. * Available learning time per day: 4~5 hours * TOEIC and other English scores and language training experiences: I don't have any scores. [estherkim18] Teaching and language have always been my strong passion and interest as I have spent over half of my life in foreign countries. I came across several opportunities to teach, tutor, or aid others in various subjects including languages. I have learned to speak English, German, and Russian over the years and am quite familiar with what it is like to learn a new language and its culture. As I myself have experienced the language learning process from the perspective of a foreigner, I know that language learning can seem quite intimidating at times. However, I have also grown to know the excitement in learning of the people, language, and the culture. Being able to look back and see one's own improvement in the understanding of the language and in the ability to communicate with those who speak a different language is rewarding and enriching beyond words. Although, not all language learners have mostly fortunate experience like mine, which in my opinion has largely to do with the language instructor. How I see ESL (or any other foreign language) teachers in relation  to language learners is that they are the faces and the first and strongest impression of the target language and culture. Language instructors have such a huge impact on the students' approach to language and learning: while they can motivate and encourage the students to be better learners and communicators, they can also leave a terrible impression on the students of the target language and culture, deterring their learning process.
