    WVC 테솔 Unit 5에서는 효과적으로 교실 환경을 조성하는 방법과 학생들의 적극적인 참여를 어떻게 유도할 수 있는지를 배운다.

    선생님보다 학생들이 더 말을 많이 하는 환경이 좋고, 몸의 감각들을 최대한으로 활용하며 공부하는 것이 좋다.

    너무 길게 하기보다는 짧고 재밌게, 학생마다 다 좋아하는 것과 공부 방법이 다르니 그에 맞춰 유연하게 대응하는 능력도 필요하다고 한다.

    WVC 테솔 Unit 6에서는 학생들의 능력을 평가하는 방법들에 대해서 배운다. 시험도 그 개념에 포함되긴 하지만 assessment는 그거보다는 더 큰 개념이다. 

    시험말고 놀이나 게임으로도 할 수 있으며, 어떤 능력을 알아보고 싶은지에 따라 여러 방법을 사용할 수 있다.

    WVC 테솔 Unit 8 에서는 영어로 읽기를 어떻게 하면 효과적인지에 대해 배운다.

    소리내어 읽는거는 읽으면서 내용을 습득하기 보다는 단어들을 발음하는 데에 더 신경을 많이 쓰게 되기 때문에 생각보다 읽기에 도움이 안된다고 한다.

    목적에 따라 글을 읽는 방법이 달라져서(예: 특정 정보를 찾기 위한 읽기, 주제를 찾기 위한 읽기, 재미를 위한 읽기 등) 그 목적에 따라 읽는 방법들을 익혀야 한다.

    글을 읽다보면 다양한 단어들을 접하게 되는데, 7~14개를 넘어가면 기억에 남지 않으니 주의!

    WVC 테솔 Unit 5~8까지 공부하며 느낀 점 :

    되게 당연한거 아니야? 라고 생각했던 개념들을 다시 한번 확실하게 복습하는게 생각보다 큰 도움과 공부가 되는 것 같다.

    점점 가면 갈수록 수업 영상이 길어지는 느낌이다. 처음엔 음 이정도면 들을만 하군! 하고 방심했다가 어? 할 때가 가끔 있음..

    가끔 수업 중 수업 모델을 제시해주면서 한번 해보면 좋을 듯한 활동들을 추천해주는데 꼭 과제처럼 제대로 만들어보진 않더라도 그 주제에 대해서 더 깊게 생각해볼만한 계기를 주는 것 같아 좋은 것 같다.

    선생님이 참 또박또박 잘 알아듣게 설명해주신다. 영어 실력이 유창한 사람들은 2배속으로 들어도 될 듯!

    수업 자료를 어디서 구하는게 좋을지가 고민중 하나였는데 여러 사이트를 알려줘서 도움이 많이 될 것 같다.
