esol challenge _ WVC Tesol / unit 5~8 시험후기
Learning styles 가 3종류 있으니 시험에 나온다는 거죠!
특히 'Kinesthic' 은 moving while students learn 이라고 해요.
#WVCTESOL 에서는 'warmers'를 강조하고 있어요.
low-intermediate의 경우 good warmer activity는
'Students watch a 3 minute video and answer 2 questions in pairs, then as a class' 에요.
warmer는 최대 10분을 넘기지 않도록 주의하세요!
assessment 의 purpose 는 'assess student progress' 에요. 다양한 activity를 계획하고 flexible 하게 움직일 수 있어야 해요.
assessment 에는 summative 와 formative 가 있어요.
2가지 종류가 있다는건~ 각각의 특징과 차이점을
꼭 기억해야한다는 힌트가 되겠죠?
특히 A portfolio is an example of a summative assessment 이라는 점!

- placement tests 는 usually administered by 'the school, company' 로 teacher 이 진행하는 test는 아니에요. 물론~ 선생님도 진행 할 순 있지만, 주로 학교나 학원과 같은 업체에서 진행되는거죠.
선생님은 design a course 를 할 때, the first thing to think about is 'the context of the class'에요.
항상 four modalities 를 포함하고 있는지 체크하고
pay attention to student and teacher needs 하고나서 text book과 lesson을 계획하도록 해야해요.
lesson plan 할 때, 주의해야 할 점은
NOT to as much detail as possible 이에요. 수업을 계획 할 때는 clear&simple
진행 할 때에는 flexible 하고 make sure changes if necessary 해야한다는거~!
